- deal professionally with questions from the audience regarding the presentation
- demonstrate their abilities by delivering a 15 minute presentation
Outline
The workshop is designed to be highly practical in nature, and includes numerous helpful tops, with one major structured presentation to be made by each delegate. This is supported by a number of group discussions and exercises, the results of which will be presented back to the group.
Day One
- Introduction to workshop, administration
- Putting fear of making a presentation into context - pre-prepared presentation to assess current level of ability

- Establishing the aims of your presentation
- Planning the contents of your presentation
- The Introduction phase of a presentation
- The structured summary to the presentation

- Considering time in the planning of your presentation

Evening work of at least 2 hours
Day Two
- Considering your presentation personal image
- Handling Nerves before and during the presentation
- Presentations and structured feedback
- Managing Questions from the audience during the presentation
