- Provide an effective methodology for getting things done with others to achieve clarity of business aims and maximum commitment to their achievement
- Steer the team: ensure joiners are integrated without conflict and make a contribution quickly
- Analyse success as well as difficulty: task and process, mapping the task, process review and active observation, supporting ideas and risk taking
- Agreeing ways of working: synthesis of aims, stakeholder analysis, negotiating ground rules for working together
- Patterns of thinking and how these can be recognised to improve communication
- Review individual strengths and skills so as to identify the knowledge and skill to work on in order to maximise performance
